About
Saraswathi Vidya Mandir High School is a co-educational State Board (SSC) school in Khairatabad, Hyderabad, offering education from Class 1 to Class 10. Established in 1962 and located opposite Prasad’s IMAX, the school is part of the Vidya Bharati family of institutions and has served Hyderabad families for more than six decades.
Our story
The school began in 1962 as a humble night school in Indiranagar Colony, started to bring learning within reach of children who had little access to it. Over the decades that small effort grew into a full school β recognised for Class 1 to Class 10 under the Telangana State (SSC) board β and trusted by generation after generation of local families.
Our affiliation
The school functions under Sri Saraswathi Vidya Peetham, Telangana, part of Vidya Bharati β one of India’s largest networks of value-based schools. Our education blends a strong academic foundation with the discipline, humility and cultural rootedness for which Vidya Bharati schools are known across the country.
Our guiding idea
Vidya Vinayena Shobhate β knowledge shines through humility. Every child who passes through our gates should leave not only well-prepared for examinations, but grounded, confident and proud of their heritage.
Vision & values
- A strong, balanced academic grounding for every child, Class 1 to Class 10.
- Character before achievement β discipline, honesty and humility.
- Pride in our nation, our languages and our cultural traditions.
- Care for nature and community, lived rather than taught.
A message from our Principal
[Principal’s name + a warm 4β5 line message goes here β please send me this. It’s one of the most-read, most-trusted parts of a school website.]
Our campus today
The school’s present building was constructed in 2020 through the generosity of the Aurobindo Pharma Foundation under its CSR programme, with the kind support of Sri Chintala Ramachandra Reddy, former MLA, Khairatabad. Today the campus is fully air-conditioned, solar-powered and CCTV-monitored, with 75-inch AI digital boards, a computer lab, a library, a large playground, a Goddess Saraswathi temple and a goshala. We remember our well-wishers’ contribution with gratitude.
